Very cute hotel in old downtown. Huge bathrooms, friendly staff, and a nice jump start “bucket” breakfast. The great little restaurants are not open as much as we would have liked (we ate at one of them twice in one day they were so good)! Easy to get to the highway in every direction we wanted to go. They were also having a lot of fun decorating for the season. Our family enjoyed a wonderful evening on the terrace with lots of space so no need to all pile into one person’s room.

We discovered this little gem on a road trip where we only had time to stay one night but we are planning on coming back for another visit just to stay at this hotel. First of all, I want to give a round of applause for the renovation of this historical building. It’s stunning and incredibly well done. Secondly, the staff was lovely and the restaurant was exceptional. The mattress was super comfy, and the little touches like the breakfast pail, board games to check out, and the onsite gift shop were great! This place is pet friendly too. Looking forward to our next trip!!

Lovely cool unique old hotel! Clean and safe. Definitely a charming change from the cookie-cutter chain hotels. Staff was friendly and the room was perfect. My only advice to visitors - this IS an OLD building with amazingly beautiful wood floors that squeak so just pack some ear plugs.

We read all the reviews and I must say ALL the positive reviews were spot on. Great stay, quite impressed. We had a family get together and rented the local movie theater for a private party and showing. The town is very impressive. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

We loved our trip out here. St. Paul is a cute little town. This hotel was very nice. The staff was kind, the room was clean, there’s a great game room for family fun. There’s an attached restaurant that seemed very popular, but we didn’t get a chance to try it. There’s also a little store with some homemade and locally made items for sale. We went primarily for the UTV rental and experience. The only reason this isn’t 5 star is the low quality helmets and goggles that were provided. Safety is very important, but handing out helmets that are clearly 10+ years old is not safe at all. The goggles were also in terrible shape and didn’t even fit over most of our helmets. There is a Polaris safety video that they require you watch along with the waiver, but the staff really didn’t provide any other information on the vehicle or the trails. It’s very much a “here’s the keys, good luck” type deal. If I wasn’t with my young kids, it might not have registered as a problem. But they advertise this as family friendly, so I think new gear and a bit more from the staff would be great.

Excellent service and friendly staff. A little different from any other hotel but in a good way! A grab and go breakfast at your door before checkout was perfect to get us on the road and a coffee bar in the lobby for a vanilla boost made me smile. Wish we could have had time to take advantage of the S'mores at the fire pit!

This makes our second year doing the Santa Train Family getaway package. It is our families FAVORITE thing to look forward to. The staff is WONDERFUL and so accommodating to my Oldest's need. (Special Needs Immune Deficiencies.) They always make sure he is able to enjoy their events. We have NEVER been somewhere that's so welcoming and the overall experience is AMAZING! For those with small children I highly recommend this event the hotel does. The hotel itself is highly remarkable without any events.

Very relaxing stay. Staff was great, and the property was quaint Fun twist, mixing continental breakfast and room service every morning The attached restaurant is top notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend getaway. If you happen to be looking for a property with a little bit of spirit activity, this should be your first stop.
